Legends of the Nentir Vale
This large woodland stretches from the Nentir River to the mountains and extends for miles to the south. It separates the Nentir Vale from the more populous coastal towns of the south. Harken Forest avoids the harshest of the winter due to its location at the southern end of the Nentir Vale. It has a mix of evergreen and decidious trees and is home to all types of natural animals and some unnatural ones.
The Harken Forest is much denser than the light woodlands scattered across the Harkenwold, with larger trees and thicker undergrowth. It is also more dangerous for traveler – large and hungry beasts such as giant spiders and worgs roam its shadows. Game trails or maked paths are few and far between.
